This interface provides a real-time view of the building automation and ice plant control system used in a GeoIce installation. The system manages ice slab temperature, geothermal heat exchange, pump speeds, flow rates, and overall facility energy performance.
GeoIce integrates multiple energy sources—including geothermal exchange, solar generation, wind generation, and grid power—into a single intelligent control platform. The system continuously evaluates operating conditions and automatically selects the most efficient energy source while cascading pumps, compressors, and heat exchange systems to maintain optimal performance.
All system activity is logged and recorded, providing historical performance data and giving facility operators full transparency into system efficiency and energy production. In many installations, the GeoIce system delivers up to five times the usable thermal energy relative to the electrical energy consumed.
